Product information "1/2 IN x 1/2 IN HydroGuard XP Emergency Tempering Valve"
This 1/2 x 1/2 inch HydroGuard XP emergency tempering valve with cold water bypass is designed to thermostatically blend hot and cold water to deliver tepid water to emergency fixtures, quickly compensating for temperature variations due to changes in inlet temperature or pressure. For use with emergency fixtures in compliance with ANSI Z358.1 and is ASSE 1071 listed. It features advanced paraffin actuation technology, dirt and lime resistant plunger design and vandal resistant locking mechanism. This valve body has a rough bronze finish, 1/2 inch NPT inlets and 1/2 inch NPT outlet with T/P thermometer, checkstops, and is factory set at 85 degrees F (29 degrees C).
